Our Motivation

Most of the existing theological institutions in Nigeria and other African nations, and indeed all over the world, are either not well designed to cater for the great need of properly and adequately training effective church leaders, workers, Christian men and women who will sustain, gather, preserve, nurture and transform the great harvest in the church in Africa; or are grossly lacking in the right personnel resources, especially leadership disposition to pursue this objective; or are incapacitated by a compromised vision beret of appropriate blend of sound spiritual fervency, theological and academic excellence, practical and existential relevance to the African setting. Thus there is a great and urgent need for a God-driven theological institution that would fill this enormous and all-important gap. We are please to announce that, by the special grace of God, the Great Harvest Theological Institute has been founded for this purpose.
